Olalab Studio | Photography and Visual Storytelling in Amsterdam
Visual storytelling for brands, creatives and growing businesses in Amsterdam
Studio, on location, or at your business.
Your brand deserves visuals that tell a story. Whether you need images for your website, social campaigns, product launches, or corporate materials, I create photography that connects with your audience in an authentic and engaging way. Every image is crafted to reflect your brand’s personality and values.
Commercial photography is more than clean visuals. It is about understanding your identity and translating it into images that resonate. I collaborate closely with you to capture the mood, tone, and feeling that represent your business.
Every session is designed around your brand’s voice, colours, and story.
Created with versatility in mind for websites, social media, and campaigns.
On location, in a studio, or at your workplace, depending on what fits your project best.
We plan together so the visuals align with your marketing goals.
In 2019 Jessica reached out to me with a dream. She wanted to launch her webshop for yarn and already carried a clear idea of her brand name, her colors, and her pirate-inspired logo.
Fresh bread carries its own story. The crackling crust of sourdough, the twisted layers of a pistachio bun, the quiet ritual of coffee beside a warm pastry.
This small editorial series celebrates the craft of artisan baking. My goal was to capture the textures, warmth, and atmosphere that make bakery products feel alive and irresistible.
For bakeries and cafés, photography should do more than show a product. It should invite people into the experience.
Watches are more than instruments that tell time. They are carriers of history, craftsmanship, and style. When I had the opportunity to photograph the 100 Years Yokohama Special Edition watch, my goal was not only to showcase the product but to capture the spirit of a century of heritage.

I care deeply about creating visuals that represent your brand authentically and effectively.
From aligning with your brand guidelines to crafting images that support your marketing goals, every step of the process is collaborative. If something ever feels off, we refine it together until it’s right. My goal is to deliver images that not only look beautiful but also work hard for your business.
Yes. All commercial projects include a tailored licensing agreement based on your needs. Whether you want images for social media, advertising, internal use, or editorial campaigns, we’ll define the scope clearly upfront so you have the freedom you need.
Absolutely. I’ll review your brand book, tone of voice, and creative references before the shoot to ensure the final visuals match your identity and goals. My focus is on creating content that feels authentic and on-brand.
Both options work. If you have a detailed creative brief, I execute it faithfully. If you need concept development, I can also help shape ideas and storyboards to make sure the visuals connect with your audience.
Turnaround time depends on the scale of the project:
Yes. For larger productions, I collaborate with a trusted network of makeup artists, stylists, and creative partners to bring the vision to life. We’ll discuss what’s needed during the planning stage.
No problem. I keep your images securely archived and can deliver additional selections or run follow-up sessions as needed. For recurring needs, we can also create a content retainer plan.
Yes. For certain projects, I collaborate with videographers and motion designers to deliver integrated photo and video content. Let me know early if this is something you need.
Yes. I’m based in Amsterdam but work across the Netherlands and internationally. Travel costs are quoted transparently in the project estimate.
Before any shoot, we align closely on creative direction, moodboards, and deliverables. This ensures the final images meet your marketing goals and brand aesthetics. After delivery, if there’s a detail that doesn’t fully match expectations, I include one round of revisions in every commercial package so we can fine-tune the results.
